For more than 10 years, I have been taking photographs of atmospheric phenomena in various landscapes. A decade of incredible experiences, each of them linked to its unique story. When light and weather come together, a host of spectacular sights appear on the canvas, which we call the atmosphere. This encounter with nature touches and fascinates me deeply.

Whether it is a gently lit tornado in the middle of the prairie – arguably a once in a lifetime experience which beggars belief even years later – or the sky above a lighthouse by the sea which is immersed in magnificent colors. Moments like these will make all the small struggles along the way worthwhile. Sometimes, in order to get a shot of a lightning strike from a particular angle, it can take years until everything comes together. And then suddenly, there is the moment I have been waiting for so long. It’s a never-ending hunt for the ultimate reward. Maybe one of you shares the same passion for the aesthetics of these fleeting phenomena.
